A good product brief is the difference between a fast, accurate quote and a round of back-and-forth. If you can fill in the details below, our team can quote you within a day. Here’s exactly what we need.

The Complete Product Brief Template

You can copy this into an email to us and fill in the blanks:

1. Product type: e.g. tote bag / stainless bottle / USB hub
2. Target quantity: e.g. 500 / 1,000 / quote multiple tiers
3. Size / dimensions: e.g. 38 x 42 cm, or "standard A4 tote"
4. Material: e.g. 12oz canvas / 304 stainless / non-woven 80gsm
5. Colors: e.g. body black, handles natural
6. Branding method: e.g. screen print 1-color / laser engrave / embroidery
7. Logo placement: e.g. front center, 15cm wide
8. Logo file: vector (AI/EPS/SVG) or high-res PNG attached?
9. In-hand date: e.g. needed by Dec 1 (for packaging lead time)
10. Packaging: e.g. bulk polybag / individual box / plain or branded
11. Budget: optional, helps us steer options
12. Destination: e.g. Dongguan / overseas port for shipping terms

Why Each Field Matters

  • Product type + size + material determine the base cost and what factories we can use.
  • Quantity drives the price tier — most pricing drops significantly at 500 vs 1,000.
  • Colors can change cost if you need custom dye or multi-color bodies.
  • Branding method sets setup cost and per-unit cost (see Imprint Methods 101).
  • In-hand date tells us whether we can use stock parts or need custom tooling lead times.
  • Packaging is often the piece people forget — branded boxes add lead time and cost.

Three Tips for a Faster Quote

  1. Give a vector logo if you can. A sharp AI/EPS/SVG prints and engraves cleanly. A low-res screenshot means a redraw and a day’s delay.
  2. Give quantity tiers, not a single number. “Quote 300/500/1,000” lets us show you where the savings are.
  3. Be realistic about the deadline. Custom-molded or heavily branded items need 2–4 weeks. If you have a hard date, say it up front.

What Happens Next

With a complete brief we’ll typically come back with:

  • A per-unit price at your quantity tiers
  • A MOQ if your target is below our standard minimum
  • A production lead time and shipping estimate
  • A sample suggestion, so you can approve look and feel before the full run

Send us your filled-in brief via our contact page and we’ll get to work.
